• Abundant: Birch trees are common in the northern hemisphere and grow quickly, so they can be sustainably logged without disrupting the forest's biodiversity. 

• Renewable: Birch is a renewable resource because of its fast growth rate and wide availability. 

• Energy efficient: Plywood manufacturing uses less energy than plastic and metal. 

• Minimal waste: By-products like wood scraps can be recycled or reused. 

• Low impact on the environment: Birch plywood has little impact on the environment, especially when sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified sources.
